What Awards will be presented?

  • The top three finishers in each race, age group and gender.
    • 12 and under (5&10K)
      13-18
      19-29
      30-39
      40-49
      50-59
      60 & over
  • Awards ceremony will immediately follow each race.
  • Note: The 50K Relay is one category, fastest team wins. Good luck!

Where can I pick up my race packet?

  • Early packet pick-up is at Mountain Gear, 2002 N. Division, Spokane, WA.
  • Friday April 21st 4 to 7p.m. and Saturday April 22nd 3pm to 6pm.
  • Race day packet pick up at the start area April 23, 2017 06:30:00. Race day packets must be picked up at least 30 minutes prior to your race start time.

What if I decide to run a shorter distance once I have started the race?

  • You must notify officials at the finish line of the change

How many water stations are on the course?

  • 5k-1 water stations
  • 10K-2 water stations
  • 25k-4 water stations
  • 50k will have a minimum of 7 water stations

Water stations are manned by Garfield A.P.P.L.E. elementary families. Their contributions keep this run alive.

Medical volunteer will be stationed at the main event site available to be dispatched out to course if needed.  Each water station will have first aid kits on hand.

Will I need to carry any of my own water?

  • Participants in the 25K and 50K may wish to carry water

Is the course clearly marked?

  • The course will be clearly marked with directional arrows and mile markers.

Can I access a map of the course?

  • Maps of the courses can be found below the course descriptions.  Click on the map to be taken to a Google map of the course.

Will I be running any part of the course more than once?

  • All distances are designed so that participants will not repeat any part of the course more than once

Are pets allowed on the course?

  • Pets are not allowed due to the narrow trails and nature of the course.

Are strollers allowed on the course?

  • Strollers are not allowed due to the narrow trails and unpredictable trail terrain.

Will there be food?

  • There will be Sol de Taco (taco truck) selling some of Spokane’s best Mexican food, as well as Have Beans will Travel keeping you and those awaiting you finish warm with coffee.
  • Water and sports drinks available at the finish line.

Where is the closest ATM

  • The closest ATM is located in the Zip Trip at 4807 N. Nine Mile Rd.

Directions from the Start/ Finish area

Please exit at the North end of the parking area.
Make a left when you get to the pavement (N. Riverside State Park Dr.)
Drive ¼ mile and make a Right on 7 mile road
Follow 7 Mile Road ¾ of a mile turn right on 9 Mile Road.
Follow 9 Mile Road for 2 miles, Zip Trip will be on the right hand side
